Don Lovasz, MBA – President/CEO
Don brings 30 years of both clinical and healthcare executive experience to the organization, having served as Vice President of a regional integrated delivery system, CIO/System Vice President of a Baldrige-winning Catholic health system, and other key positions during his career. Don’s most important achievement is his ability to work closely and successfully with patients, clinicians and payers in a variety of settings, including community hospitals, regional integrated delivery networks and multi-state healthcare systems.
Brian Christopher, MBA – VP Administration
Prior to his current role, Brian was a co-CIO for SSM Health Care in St. Louis. During his time there the organization was recognized with the Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award and twice received the Missouri Quality Award. The Information Center was also recognized by Gartner Group and MetaGroup as best in class. Prior to serving KentuckyOne Health Partners, Brian consulted with Centene Corporation, a leading national healthcare enterprise providing programs and related services to the government.
Amy O’Connell MSN, APRN-BC – VP Clinical Services
Amy brings significant experience to her current role, including her time as System Director for Employee Health, Wellness, Safety, and Workers Compensation for KentuckyOne Health, which was recognized 3 years in a row by Business First as Healthiest Employer. Amy also served 14 years in various roles at Baptist Health, ranging from bedside nursing to House Administrator for the Baptist Hospital East facility.
Deepak Mirchandani, MBA, BSEE – Director, Information Systems
Deepak has over 25 years of diverse leadership experience in the health care industry. His expertise spans information systems, informatics and business operations for health systems, payers, pharmacy benefits managers and insurance exchanges. His career focus has been to be the on the leading edge of business and technological changes – having been an early adopter of advanced analytics, bedside computers, cloud based systems, interoperability standards, web technology, etc to enable delivery of health care and personal well-being.
His professional affiliations include Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, Project Management Institute, American Society for Quality, Association for Computing Machinery and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
Dorothy Lockhart, BSN, RN, CCTC – Regional Director, Lexington Market
Most recently, Dorothy served as Director of Cardio-Thoracic Transplant and Mechanical Circulatory Support at the University Of Kentucky and as Heart and Lung Transplant Coordinator at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. Her other professional experience includes working as a medical review specialist and community health nurse.
Ann Spencer, MBA, RN – Regional Director, Louisville Market
Prior to joining KentuckyOne Health Partners, Ann served as Chief Nursing Officer for Jewish Hospital Shelbyville, Quality and Education Manager with VNA Home Care, Quality and Infection Prevention Manager at Frazier Rehab Institute and Neuroscience and Orthopedic Outcomes Manager at Jewish Hospital.
